Privacy Policy — Arrow Escape
Last updated: 1 September 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how the Arrow Escape app
(package com.auspo.arrowescape, the “App”), published by Auspo Apps
(“we”, “us”), handles information when you use it.
The short version
- You do not create an account, and we never ask for your name, email address, phone number or contacts.
- Your game progress stays on your phone. We do not upload or back it up.
- The App does need an internet connection: it shows ads, reports crashes, records anonymous usage statistics, fetches remote settings, and can send you reminder notifications.
- Ads and analytics are provided by third parties who collect device and advertising identifiers. They are listed in full below.
- You can optionally buy a one-time “Remove ads” upgrade. Payment is handled entirely by Google Play — we never see your payment details.
Information stored on your device
The App saves the level you have reached, your best time per level, achievements, and daily-play streaks. It also stores your theme and music preferences, and whether you have seen the tutorial. This information is held in the App's private storage on your device. It is not sent to us, and deleting the App removes it.
Information collected by third-party services
The App includes the following services. Each one is operated by the company named, under its own privacy policy, and each may collect information automatically when you use the App.
- Google AdMob (Google) — displays banner, interstitial and rewarded ads. Collects your device's advertising identifier, IP address, device model and operating system, and information about the ads you are shown and interact with.
- Firebase Analytics (Google) — records anonymous usage events such as when a game starts, is won or lost, when a hint is used and which screens you open. It also stores properties such as your current and best daily streak, your reminder settings, your answer to the first-launch experience question, and your notification token.
- Firebase Crashlytics (Google) — collects crash reports and diagnostic data, including the level or difficulty that was on screen when a crash happened, so we can fix it.
- Firebase Remote Config (Google) — fetches settings so we can adjust the App without shipping an update.
- Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google) — issues a push notification token for your installation so the App can deliver daily challenge and reminder notifications.
- Firebase Authentication (Google) — signs your installation in anonymously. This creates a random identifier for the installation. It holds no name, email address or other personal detail, and you are never asked to log in.
- Mixpanel (Mixpanel, Inc.) — product analytics. Receives the same kind of anonymous gameplay events and properties as Firebase Analytics, which we use to understand how the App is played.
- Meta SDK (Meta Platforms) — automatic app event logging is enabled, and the SDK is configured to collect your device's advertising identifier. This is used for advertising measurement and attribution.
- Google Play In-App Review (Google) — shows the Play Store's own rating prompt inside the App.
- Google Play Billing & RevenueCat (Google; RevenueCat, Inc.) — process the optional one-time “Remove ads” purchase. Google Play takes the payment; we never receive your card or payment details. RevenueCat receives a random identifier for your installation, the purchase token and receipt issued by Google Play, and basic device and app information, which is how the purchase is recognised and restored if you reinstall the App.
See Google's Privacy Policy, How Google uses information from AdMob, Mixpanel's Privacy Policy, Meta's Privacy Policy, and RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
The App's “More Games” screen also checks whether our other games are installed on your device, so it can offer “Tap to play” instead of a store link. That check happens entirely on your device and nothing about it is sent anywhere.
Permissions the App requests
- Internet and network state — to load ads, report crashes and fetch settings.
- Notifications — optional. Used for the daily challenge reminder and occasional nudges to come back and play. You are asked once, and you can decline or turn notifications off later in your device settings or in the App's daily challenge screen. Declining does not limit the game in any way.
Advertising
The App is free and paid for by advertising. Ads may be personalised using your advertising identifier. You can reset or delete that identifier, and opt out of ad personalisation, in your device settings under Settings → Google → Ads. Where the law requires it — including in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom — you are asked for consent before personalised ads are shown, and you can change that choice at any time.
Some ads are rewarded: you choose to watch one in exchange for an extra life when you run out, extra hints, an undo, and a restart. Watching is always optional and you can decline without losing anything you already had.
You can also remove banner and full-screen ads permanently with a one-time “Remove ads” purchase, made through Google Play. The purchase is tied to your Google Play account, so reinstalling the App and using “Restore purchase” brings it back at no extra cost.
Children
The App is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us at auspoapps@gmail.com and we will delete it.
Your choices and rights
- Reset or delete your advertising identifier, and opt out of ad personalisation, in device settings.
- Turn notifications off at any time in device settings.
- Clear the App's storage, or uninstall it, to remove everything saved on your device.
- Depending on where you live — for example under the GDPR in the EEA and UK, or the CCPA in California — you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information relating to you. Because we operate no accounts and hold no directly identifying information ourselves, most such requests concern the third-party services listed above. Email us at auspoapps@gmail.com and we will help where we can.
- We do not sell personal information.
Data retention and security
Information held on your device stays until you clear the App's data or uninstall it. Information collected by the third-party services above is retained under their own policies. We take reasonable measures to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the App changes. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date above.
